Japanese Breakfast

Japanese Breakfast is musical group lead by New York Times best selling author Michelle Zauner.  Beginning in 2013 as a passion project on Tumblr, Japanese Breakfast began to garner a following and were signed in 2016 to Yellow K records. They began to release albums distinctly characterized by ethereal alternative tone taking influence from indie rock, disco, orchestral music, and other forms. This experimental l style attracted popular alternative musician Mitski who had Japanese Breakfast open on her tour effectively launching their career on the path it is now.
